1-1/2 pounds ground beef
2 cups soft bread cubes
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper, optional
1-1/2 teaspoons salt or less
1 egg
1/2 cup catsup
Sauce:
1/2 cup catsup
1/4 cup chili sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire
Mix all but sauce ingredients well. Pat evenly into 9 x 5 inch glass loaf pan. Mix sauce
ingredients in a bowl. Brush meat loaf top with sauce. Microwave for 25 to 35 minutes on
medium high until well done in center. Pour off liquid and let stand, covered with foil
for 5 minutes before serving. Serves 6 to 8.
