Cherry Apple Salad

1 pkg. cherry Jello
1 c. hot water
1/4 c. red cinnamon candy
1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. apples, chopped, pared
1 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Dissolve Jello in hot water; add candies to 1/2 cup boiling water. Add enough water to make 1 cup; add to dissolved Jello. Cool until partially set; add remaining ingredients. Chill and mold.
